*1958 Joined BVM Engineering College, as assistant lecturer (Physics Dept.) & started his outstanding teaching (lecturer, professor) & civic career
*Due to his outstanding skills of student mgmt., he was part of central committee to maintain discipline during elections/sports events etc
*While working in education field visualized civic needs of VVN and attracted Industrial resources of Vithal Udyognagar (power/Money/talent) as their trusted member and organized Lions Club of VVN.
> Purchased Ist ambulance in VVN by collecting money from
citizens & donated to Panchayat.
> His skills to bring people support for Sarpanch Vinukaka & his
legacy during several VVNs elections are still talked about.
> Founding director of Vidyanagar Co-op bank
> Founded BVM Employee Coop Society & ended extortions of
money lenders. This helped several families to manage their
needs with low interest loans.
> With his unique skills of presentations, brought loans from
Housing Boards to help homes building in Residential Co-op
societies & began era in planned societies in VVN

· VTC adapted swimming pool with help from HM Patel of CVM which today is big activity centre.
· Adopted Valasan town & improved several public facilities such as street lights etc.
Managed Baj Khedaval Hosted for 19 yrs. providing exemplary free housing & books to appx. 100 students every year.
During his late teaching career, he joined Sharda High school of Anand.
In 1987 Joined his two sons in USA & once again showed his skills to establish successful different career at retirement age.
· Worked as Quality Controler.
· Passed US Govt. exam & joined Health/Welfare Dept. and retired as Investigator working 16 yrs.
· Became instrumental in getting skilled Indian workforce for his dept.
Dada would not have been able to accomplish his visions and dreams without the dedication, care and love of his wife, Premlattaben.
His life was full of love, honesty, dedication, family, and community. He strongly believed “charity begins from Home”. His energy, strength, care, bosterious laugh, and his deep words should never be forgotten.
